2010 June 10th - 3 pm

Woke up at 12 pm. Probably my pesky owner's daughter's shoes woke me up. Looked at my mobile, had 4 missed calls from Ajit. He's going to Goa with his colleagues. He probably needs the address of the place where we stayed at Cancona, Palolem beach. That was one hell of a trip. Over 500 Kms of boring bus ride; but the fun we had there was unforgettable. Anyway, coming back to my dirty, messed-up room in Bangalore, I got up, brushed my teeth and had my brunch. Came back to my room and went to the terrace to collect my clothes. A day earlier I had washed my clothes with my own hands. Hard to believe, eh? But I did. I wonder how I changed so much so soon. But anyway, I guess it's a good thing. Being jobless in a city like Bangalore from a past month is worse. I see my friends going to jobs, getting up early, fighting for bathroom and wonder when I'd join the fight and kick someone in nuts and enjoy while they wriggle in pain. And in evening I see them coming back to room, exhausted, looking like the men of very few words (and strength). The worst thing about Bangalore is traveling. It sucks. And to the core. My friend travels about 20 kms on a one way trip to office. Sucks for him. But in the end he gets a whooping 5.2 l.p.a.

1 pm and the electricity was gone. As usual, I had no calls from any consultancy. It kills me slowly, everyday. Probably a little lesser than the evil spell cast upon me several years ago. I wondered when Kiran's brother would allot us the transcription work. A week ago while I was in Belgaum, we had a discussion about earning some bucks through transcription shit. I then had to carry my PC all the way to B'lore. But as of now, there was no work. My life was boring. Got a lot of time to think about unnecessary stupid things; esp. about my past relationships and esp. about my last one. They say, 'anempty mind is a devil's workshop' but it was worse, in my case.
I took the newspaper in my hand. One news grabbed my attention. It said "Britney's bodyguard was sexually harassed by her!" and that he would be quitting his job. I wondered whether the bodyguard was a fruit cake? I skipped to astrology section and it read "There is no point getting worried about issues & situations which you have no control over". How true. I was worried I would end up being jobless forever but hardly could I do anything about it.
